About Keith

Coaching from experience, with compassion and purpose

Keith is a coach who believes meaningful change begins with understanding yourself—your patterns, your motivations, your relationships, and the beliefs that shape how you show up in the world.

He works with men who are ready to grow in emotional awareness, strengthen their relationships, and live more authentically. His approach is grounded in curiosity, compassion, and practical action, helping clients turn new insights into meaningful change.

A word from Keith

I’ve walked this road too

For years, I knew how to keep moving forward, but I didn’t always know how to be fully present in my own life. I struggled to understand and navigate my emotions, often turning to unhealthy ways of coping when life became uncomfortable. I found it difficult to build deep friendships with other men and struggled to communicate in the ways I wanted to with my wife and children.

I also wrestled with questions of purpose and identity. I wore different masks depending on what I thought people expected of me, carried shame I rarely talked about, and measured my worth by how much I could accomplish. From the outside, I could keep producing and advancing, and no one would know what was really going on. Inside, I knew something was missing.

My story also includes divorce and the painful loss of a relationship with my son. Those experiences brought their own grief and exposed places in my life that needed attention.

In October 2019, I experienced a turning point at a men’s retreat. I began to see that truly living meant more than accomplishing, achieving, or simply getting through the day. It meant becoming more aware of what was happening within me, allowing myself to be known, and learning to live from a more authentic place.

Since that transformational time, I’ve been on an ongoing journey of healing and growth. God has used people, communities, and organizations, including The Crucible Project and For Men Only, to help me understand my story, address the deep wounds and patterns that shaped me, and discover what it means to live more fully and authentically.

My journey isn’t finished. I continue to discover, grow, and apply what I’ve learned in my own life. Most recently, I completed an 18-month spiritual formation journey, Haven through the Transforming Center, which focused on spiritual disciplines and rhythms of rest to guard against the burnout that often accompanies leadership and intense emotional work.

My own soul care is an important part that I bring to coaching. Rather than pretending I have it all figured out, I coach from a place of experience, curiosity, and a genuine desire to walk alongside other men as they discover what can be different for them.

Keith’s approach to coaching

Founded in 2022 on the desire to help men get unstuck and live fully alive, GPS Coaching serves clients nationwide through virtual one-on-one sessions.

You are the expert on your own life. Keith’s role isn’t to tell you how you should live or where you should go. Instead, his focus is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, offer perspective, and sometimes challenge you in your thinking.

Together, you’ll uncover what’s going on beneath the surface, identify where you want to grow, and chart a clear path forward. Those insights can help you decide what to do differently and build practical strategies you can incorporate into your daily life.

What Keith brings to coaching

Keith’s CliftonStrengths® include Harmony, Connectedness, Positivity, Developer, and Learner. These strengths naturally shape the way he works with clients—finding common ground, seeing the bigger picture, recognizing potential, bringing encouragement and hope, and staying curious and committed to growth.

Walking alongside other men

Keith’s experience supporting men extends beyond one-on-one coaching. He has served as a Stephen Ministry leader, co-facilitated a sexual integrity growth group with The Crucible Project, and served as a volunteer with Celebrate Recovery at the New Hampshire State Prison for Men, where he also facilitated a 12-week class on faith and finances. Through Prison Fellowship Academy, he has served as a table leader for two year-long transformational cohorts. He has also facilitated financial fitness workshops through City Hope of New Hampshire.

These experiences have given Keith opportunities to listen to men from a wide range of backgrounds and walk alongside them through seasons of challenge, growth, and transition.

Your individual journey matters

Your story, experiences, beliefs, and goals are uniquely yours. Keith brings his own experiences and professional training to the coaching relationship, but he doesn’t believe there is a one-size-fits-all path to growth.

Faith perspective

Keith’s relationship with God through Jesus Christ is at the center of his life and has played a foundational role in his own transformation. His faith shapes the way he lives and approaches his work—with integrity, compassion, hope, and a belief in the possibility of change.

While Keith’s faith guides his life, it is not a requirement for working with him. He respects each man’s individual background, beliefs, and journey. His role is to meet you where you are and provide the support, accountability, and space you need to become the man you want to be.

On a personal note

Keith and his wife, Barrie, have been partners in life, family, and ministry since 1999. Barrie has been a licensed clinician for 30 years. They have two adult children, both of whom chose careers in the helping professions as a nurse and a social worker. As an avid reader and outdoor enthusiast, Keith is happiest near the water, whether traveling with family or taking regular silent retreats to disconnect from the noise of the world and reconnect with God.
